Gambar-gambar ini dikatakan diambil semasa Apex dan Dalia beraya di Kelantan. Apex juga dikatakan ada beraya di rumah Shila Amzah, di mana kawan baik Apex juga adalah kawan baik Shila. Enjoy! |
| How the teams stack up tonight | BorneoPost Online | Borneo ... Posted: 06 Sep 2011 12:05 AM PDT Posted on September 6, 2011, Tuesday KELANTAN have roped in Pahang strikers R Surendran and Azamuddin Akil, and the duo scored five goal between them in the buildup matches. Apart from the Pahang twin terror, Kelantan's top striker is also the nation's most prolific marksman, Norshahrul Idlan Talaha. He has scored 43 goals for Kelantan to date. He was the Super League top scorer in 2010 but was second in the final goals tally this year. N o r s h a h r u l a n d Azamuddin should form a formidable strike force for Kelantan as they once played together for Perak UPB Myteam. Norshahrul though born in Besut, grew up in Perak and played for Perak at all junior levels before being signed by Kelantan. Also in the Kelantan squad is former Malaysia topscorer Mohd Kh a l id Jamlu s . Khalid is no stranger in Malaysia football. Khalid, like Norshahrul is among the finest player produced by Per ak development programme. To top it up, Kelantan would be coached by M Karathu – the man who gained fame by guiding Kinta Indian Association (KIA), Perak to success in Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Cup. Being t he de fend i ng champion of Malaysia Cup and champion of Super League, Kelantan is a cut above Sarawak. Although Khairul Fahmi Che Mat would not be around, Kelantan will not be having serious problem in between the posts because their second goalkeeper Shahrizan Ismail is almost as good. "Shahrizan is good but we are afraid should anything happen to him," Azman stressed. Shahrizan was fielded in three crucial games this season and maintained a clean slate. He played against Johor FC in the second round of FA Cup that saw Kelantan won 1-0, against Terengganu in Super League on June 6th when Kelantan won 3-0 and against Perak in Super League on June 14th where Kelantan win 1-0. Shahrizan is no greenhorn either having played for Malaysia's other highest paying teams like Selangor from year 2001 to 2004, before migrating to Terengganu 2005 to 2007 before returning to his home state Kelantan since 2008. He started playing for Kelantan president cup team in 1994 and 1995. If anything happen to Shahrizan, Kelantan will be banking on junior goalkeeper Mohd Syazwan and Judtanna A/L Eh Put. |
| Sarawak banking on surprise element | BorneoPost Online | Borneo ... Posted: 05 Sep 2011 11:49 PM PDT by Abdul Hakim Bujang, reporters@theborneopost.com. Posted on September 6, 2011, Tuesday KUCHING: Despite home ground advantage Sarawak will be the undedog when they meet defending champion Kelantan in the Malaysia Cup at the State Stadium tonight. However, the Red warriors f rom the nor th wi l l be treading in dangerous waters as the Crocs will be banking on the element of surprise to upset their more fancied opponents. 's coach Robert Alber t s i s ke eping hi s Kelantan counterpart Haji Azman Ibrahim on his toes by refusing to divulge his starting eleven until just before the kick-off. Alberts was coy when asked about his team lineup during a press conference Sunday. He wa s a l s o eva s ive whenever questions on his game plan or who he would be fi elding was brought up. The ploy seems to working as the first thing Azman said when interviewed by the Borneo Post yesterday was that he was wary of the unknown strength of Sarawak. "We are ready but what worries us is Sarawak being a dark horse, is an unknown team to us," he said. Azman warned his players not to be complacent although they would be playing a team in which played in the second tier Premier League last season. "We want a win, three points but we would have to work very hard for it and we are expecting tough fi ght from Sarawak," Alberts on the other knows exactly what his team would be in for tonight because as he said they would be playing against the best team in the country. That means Crocs will have to be at their best to stand any chance, He said tonight's match will be used as yardstick to measure Sarawak's chances against other teams in the group. Apar t from Kelantan, last year's Malaysia Cup semifinalist Johor FC and Felda United are grouped together with Sarawak "We have nothing to lose, I have told the players to enjoy the game, express themselves and give their best," Alberts said, stressing that the players were much fitter, stronger and happier now after the Hari Raya break. Sarawak can take heart from Kelantan's troubled built up to tonight's Malaysia Cup opener The Red warriors were robbed of a full fi nal match build up against Songkhla FC at Tinsulanon Stadium when play was abandoned after 35 minutes after the stadium's lighting failed. will also have to play without their fi rst choice keeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat tonight as the Malaysian captain is with the National Olympic squad under coach Ong Kim Swee. name Ong Kim Swee should ring a bell among Sarawak fans as he used to play for the state under Alan Vest together with his Malacca gang – Mazlan Abdul Wahed and Shamsurin Abdul Rahman. Khairu l w i l l mi s s Kelantan's fi rst four matches this season. , no soccer pundit worth his salt would put too much significance on the visitors' setbacks in tonight's match. Kelantan is the richest team in the country and they have a squad built around Malaysia fi nest players. Sarawak might have the home advantage and their 12th man –the fans – but realistically a draw would be a good result the Crocs tonight. |
